I started at 344 pounds and lost half my body weight over two years. I spent a lifetime ignoring calories and going up pant sizes. There were red lit numbers on his bathroom scale and red X’s on my health report. Yet, I ignored it and lived in a state of obese bliss. When I welcomed my first child into the world, I could no longer ignore the red. But, I possessed a passion for engineering solutions to challenging problems. From finding the right technology to increase sales at work to growing the world’s hottest pepper in my home garden, I looked for challenging problems to solve. With the red mounting, I turned my focus inward and asked “How do I engineer my weight?” Calorie by calorie, I conquered food and engineered myself to a healthy lifestyle.
To the left is how I used to look. That isn't even me at full size, but it gets the point across. I was very severely obese.
Here's how I look today. I am healthy. It wasn't easy as a mouse scroll down the page to get from there to here, but it isn't impossible. Read my book for how I did it and how you can too.
